Honors
I was overjoyed to be accepted into the Interdisciplinary Honors track at UW. The whole idea of taking small, discussion based classes in multiple areas of study appealed to me greatly.
Additionally, I was able to form a great community through Honors. Not only through the small classes, but also through Honors housing, Honors social events, and through teaching classes as a Peer Educator. During my Senior Year, I joined the student club HSAP, which is the Honors Student Affairs Panel. HSAP puts on all of the fun Honors social events, and I had been to many events before, but this gave me an opportunity to help organize and facilitate future events. It was a great experience, and I made many friendships with the other organizers, as well as people who came to the events. At right are a few classes I took through Honors during my undergraduate education. |
