Sophomore Year
Sophomore year was the year I dedicated to my grades. With Freshman year behind me, realized that an important deadline was approaching. The day I would have to apply to my major, and hope to be accepted.
While I enjoyed my Honors and humanities classes greatly and suffered in my math and science classes, my resolve to become a Mechanical Engineer was not shaken in the least. I knew that math and science were not my easy grades, but if I was going to be accepted to my major, I would need to boost them.
My very best study habits shined this year. Never before had I taken so many engineering, math, and science classes all at once, but by the end of the year I managed to excel.
When the year was over, I applied to three different majors. My chosen major, Mechanical Engineering, and two other majors as backups; Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. I waited for over a month that summer for an answer. Finally my answers came, and all three of them were acceptances. All of my fear behind me, I could move forward as a Mechanical Engineer.
Below I have included several of the classes I took Sophomore Year, organized by subject. Check them out, or move on to Junior Year!
